Over the past few months, it has amazed us how the the love and support from the community has not stopped. We just wanted to take some time to highlight a few things that have been going on and say thank you!
In December, St. John the Baptist Diocesan High School (in West Islip) men’s basketball team played against Manhasset. The team showed up to the game with the boy’s logo on their shirt. Knowing that people even outside of Manhasset care & remember the boys touched our family's hearts. Truly a class act. Thank you!
Next, the Manhasset men & women’s basketball teams partnered with the Booster Club to raise money for the memorial funds. Coach Sadeh and Coach Bruns pledge $0.25 for every point their team scored. And, the Manhasset Booster Club encouraged others to do the same. Thank you!
Lastly, the Manhasset 2029 Lacrosse team has been selling merch with the logo & raising money for the memorial funds. The team’s jerseys this past fall season also had the boys names engraved. Thank you!
We know this is just a few of the many ways the community has come together and continued on Ryan, James & Michael's legacy. We hope to post a more thorough post soon detailing every initiative individuals and the community have done. But, for the time being, thank you everyone for the love, support & kindness.
